Default Campers/Camping in Central/South America

Can anyone comment on the pros/cons of taking a camper into Central and/or
South America; i.e. security, regulations, places to camp, etc.

Thanks.

We drive our RV to Mex and Central America every year. Twice driven to Panama
and Back. South America is quite another matter. No roads through Panama.
Lot's of things to know about Mex. and Central America travel with RV.

1 or 2 RV parks in Mexico, not much after that. We usually end up at a persons
house or Gas Station, or restraurant.

e-mail me if you wish more detailed info.
