Question about day admission into the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas
We will be cruising into Nassau in a few days and I have read reports
that say day admission into the Atlantis Resort DOES AND DOES NOT include access to the beach. (I really don't want to sneak in to the beach area) Does anyone have any information about this? Thanks, Marilyn |

Question about day admission into the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas
No. No day passes available. You can visit the resort's interior and
their casino, but not the beach/pool area. You can see the large aquarium, but you'll have to pay $25 to enter the "dig." And. there is no way you're going to sneak past those guards. Question about day admission into the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas
The guests paying $250/nt do not like having cruise passengers taking
up their loungers, bloaters for the water rides & the mayan slide (which is incredible experience). So you can go to the stores, the buffet, & the casino for free. See their huge aquarium known as THE DIG for $25 (Weekdays)-$35 (weekends) but no access without a wristband to the water rides, pools or the beach which has its own marine corp guarding it by sea. Sun Int'l has the bucks to take care of its guests. ArleneL wrote in message ... No. No day passes available. You can visit the resort's interior and their casino, but not the beach/pool area. Question about day admission into the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas
I thought the beaches in the Bahamas were all public?

Question about day admission into the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas
I had no problem walking out of the Casino and Royal Towers area and
cruising around most all of Atlantis; the pools, beach, caves, gardens, etc without any wristband. I even stuck my feet in two of the pools, but obviously didn't try to go through the dig, water slide or lazy river or anything like that. I did this just Friday (12-5-03) while Karen was gathering some points and $$ at the casino, where we witnessed one man win $9000 and a woman win $50,000! BTW -- we took the water taxi there but a land taxi back as it was pouring rain at the time we were leaving, and it's a hike between the casino to the water taxi docks and back to the ships. I have no idea if I just chanced into this or if they allow this (except for the pools of course) but it helped us decide to come back for 3 or 4 days holiday at Atlantis next time we visit Central Florida. Question about day admission into the Atlantis Resort in Bahamas
We've done this a couple of times too, but not in the past couple of
years. Nice to know it's still doable if you just look like you beong there.
