Tom, you are going to have to stop watching David Letterman...it sounds like
some of his sick jokes.
I personally heard the speech with Obama claiming having visited all 57
states...Also what an insult to all military troops having their so called
Commander- in -Chief calling them,"Corpseman".

By the way, I went for my annual check-up with my ophthalmologist this
morning and he told me two of his colleagues have stopped taking Medi-Care
as payment because of Obamacare. He has also heard others discussing doing
the same thing. They said if that did not work, they would leave just
medicine..If this continues, we are going to loose a lot of very good
doctors. After Ed's surgery, last Thursday. I got another earful at the
hospital about how doctors feel about Obamacare.

That's OK... every time I see an annual healthcare charge of $19,000 for
2 people... I'm glad that there's somebody that's trying to look out for us.

Of course, you'd be very surprised to learn that it's really
NIXONCARE... and that Obama is basically implementing what Nixon wanted
to put in decades ago...

Though of course, the republicans made sure this time that there was no
national plan that could reduce our costs... otherwise it might cut into
the insurance company profits...

But if you're really worried about spellyng and pronounciatin... the
word is pronounced NUCLEAR, not NUCULAR.

except for small details like no new taxes, very heavy use of HMOs,
Nixon relied completely on the private sector, teh federal subsidies
would have been only temporary during the transition. Yeah, except for
stuff like that it is exactly the same plan.

Direct quote from his speech to Congress on the subject" By contrast,
some of the national health plans that have been proposed in the
Congress would place the entire health system under the heavy hand of
the Federal Government, would add considerably to our tax burdens, and
would threaten to destroy the entire system of medical care that has
been so carefully built in America."

Though of course, the republicans made sure this time that there was no
national plan that could reduce our costs... otherwise it might cut into
the insurance company profits...

You do know that the Dems had an absolute bulletproof majority for
the first 18 months or so of the Administration. You also realize that
most of the delay was not related to the GOP, but rather they were busy
trying to get their own people on board. Never have understood why a
lack of discipline on the Dems side was the fault of the GOP.

But if you're really worried about spellyng and pronounciatin... the
word is pronounced NUCLEAR, not NUCULAR.

Hi Sue,
Yes and yes he is doing fine. We are waiting for biopsy results now. His
surgeon showed me pictures of the lesions before and after the surgery. He
had quite a bit of discomfort the first 3-4 days but is now just going
through the general anesthesia withdrawal.
Thanks,

Give us a break. You hate Obama so you grasp at straws to find any
Obama slip of the tongue.
Any idiot need only listen to ANY bush speech and compare it to ANY
Obama speech to wonder how we could ever have allowed Bush on TV.

Glad he is doing fine and hope the biopsy is clean!! When Kevin had
anesthesia last March, he had headache problems for a long time afterwards.

Tell Ed that we both hope he has a speedy recovery.
