Marathon Key, FL: "Tropical Cottages"??
Hi,
We're looking for information about a place in Marathon Key called "Tropical Cottages" (http://floridakeys.net/tropicalcottages/), 243 61st Street, Gulfside, MM 50. Are their cottages clean, comfortable, quiet, etc.? The price seems very inexpensive for the Keys ("special rate" of $45/nite) and I can't find any pictures of the room interiours online -- both of which make me wary. Recommendations for other moderately-priced places near Bahia Honda are also welcomed! We like Parmer's (nice folks, clean rooms, free breakfast, etc.) on Little Torch Key, which is $85/nite for an efficiency in early Dec. We're a couple in our mid-30s and early-40s; one of us is allergic to mold and dust mites. We don't have a boat. Prefer an efficiency. Thanks! |
