No, the QM2 is a Cunard Line ship. Cunard Line is owned by parent company
Carnival Corporation.

Maybe. But I don't call CENTURY or MERCURY a Royal Caribbean ship, I refer
to them as a Celebrity Cruises ship. The same should be true for Cunard
ships but for some reason people like the refer to QM2 and QE2 as "Carnival
ships". I guess it's peoples way to remind everyone that Cunard is in fact
owned by Carnival Corp. We know, we know! If Carnival wanted QM2 to be a
Carnival ship they would have never bought Cunard to begin with.

Trust me on this you conceited cretin. Not many people give a flip
enough to track your cruise experiences.

I broke into applause when I read this. He is by far the worst here and let him
respond anyway he wants, nothing will change my mind. He is truly the Energizer
Bunny of dung. I may have to break my sacred stand on not using a killfile over
him just to cut back on nausea each time I navigate this group.

NCL Sky and Sun have an observation lounge (not sure about the Dawn).

Howard,

Norwegian Star and Dawn both have one up top midships with
floor/ceiling glass windows overlooking the lido and the sea. These
are primarily used as piano bars (background music - not sing-along).
Both also have the Spinnaker Lounge all the way forward just above the
bridge with huge panoramic windows and views. On Dawn (and probably on
Star after the casino replaces Dazzles) this room is used as the Disco
at night similar to the lounges on the Century class ships of
Celebrity Cruises.

Sounds nice, Warren.

Howie

Some of the older ships in the NCL fleet have observation lounges too.

I feel your pain.

I don't understand. The QM2 does not "work" under Carnival's marquee.
It would only work under Cunard.

Was an 442 Oldsmobile a General Motors car?

I guess what I meant was that Carnival Corp. would not have spent all the
money to acquire Cunard, not to mention supply them with their own office,
President, Marketing, and staff just to have the new Cunard flagship
referred to as a "Carnival ship". That defeats the whole purpose. If
people refer to QM2 as a "Carnival ship", then the marketing people at
Cunard have failed miserably.

Yes, this I would agree.

They put a red, fiberglass slide on it, you know.
