New dinner seating for HAL??
Hello... When I went to book my next cruise, the agent asked: Which of
the early seatings would I like 5:45 or 6:15. ....Did she get this correct? Are there now staggered dining times on HAL? ...Jon |

New dinner seating for HAL??
From our travel agent:
"For our clients cruising with Holland America Line. Dining policies have changed. There are four sittings for dinner on HAL ships. *Dinner times are 5:45 pm (First Upper), 6:15 pm (First Lower), 8:00 pm (Main Upper) and 8:30 pm (Main Lower). You may request any sitting time, table size and with whom you wish to sit. All such requests should be made in advance of sailing through your travel agent. Requests will be confirmed or waitlisted at the time of booking. Table numbers and table size are on request only and will be assigned by the Maître d' on board." HAL really has someone bright in charge of planning the work and passenger flow in the dining room -- I wish they would go give advice to RCCL and Celebrity. They got the idea from Carnival, which has had staggered seating (4 seatings - two in each dining room) on the Victory for at least three years.
