Default a challenge to the cruiselines: smoking/no-smoking

According to Bob Dickenson the president of Carnival Cruiseline, to fill the
ship the fares had to be heavily discounted. And even when near full, the bar
and casino revenue was the lowest in the fleet. There was one upside. More
excursions booked. Many reported that cruises on Paradise did not have the
same nightlife participation as the rest of the fleet.
