As fellow canadian driving there is a doddle. Roads excellent. Stick shift is popular but auto for ease of mind.You will reqire a credit card. Watch out for speed cameras. Ticket goes on to your credit card. Nasty surprise awaits you in the mail. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I leave in about 12 h so I
should be sleeping...alas, I AM Canadian. I'll try to ask for petrol. I rebuild transmissions but have decided on an automatic because of the holiday traffic and higher functions required during the drive ;-). It is interestin that manual transmissions are readily available for rent. I'll be taking the Princess highway--if you had to pick 3 things to stop and see along the way, which would they be?
