As fellow canadian driving there is a doddle. Roads excellent. Stick
shift is popular but auto for ease of mind.You will reqire a credit
card. Watch out for speed cameras. Ticket goes on to your credit card.
Nasty surprise awaits you in the mail. They are camera crazy so be
careful.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I leave in about 12 h so I
should be sleeping...alas,

I AM Canadian. I'll try to ask for petrol. I rebuild transmissions
but have decided on an automatic because of the holiday traffic and
higher functions required during the drive ;-). It is interestin that
manual transmissions are readily available for rent.

I'll be taking the Princess highway--if you had to pick 3 things to
stop and see along the way, which would they be?
