Default Beach weather - how to predict it

Suppose you wanted to calculate the temperature of the beach in San
Francisco and you lived about 30-60 from the beach. How would you know
if it was hot or cold at the beach, given your own weather conditions?

Which beach? The automated weather sensor at SFO can be reached at
650-872-0246. Not much beach at the airport, though. Be more specific. The
FAA has weather sensors at airports all around the Bay area.

I use yahoo weather and if it's predicting, sunny, warm, and very light
winds, I go to the beach.
If it's predicting anything else, I stay away.
I also use accuweather.com.

I'm probably just stating the obvious here, but be aware that the WATER
temperature (as given in marine forecasts) only changes very slowly
over time. The AIR temperature (which is what most weather forecasts
give) can change considerably from day to day.

In San Franciscospeak, The Beach is the one at the Eastern end of Golden
Gate Park, usually from Lincoln Way to Balboa. All other beaches are
called something else beyond their neighborhoods.

Not much beach at the airport,

Then what do you call where the wind surfers go under the flight path?
