good place to stay in Asheville?

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in Asheville, or Balck Mtn?
Not looking to break the bank, but don't want a something we are afraid
to sleep in . No kids, no pets.

I live in Hendersonville, about 20 minutes south of Asheville. What are you
looking for? B&B? Fancy hotel, inexpensive place?

You might want to check www.roomsaver.com (I have no relationship with them
other than as a frequent user) for their coupons. It is likely that if you
are trying to make the fall colors, coupons would not be honored as motels
do very well then. This year the colors are not as good as last because of
the heavy rains this summer.

Consider staying in Hendersonville also as, for a small town, it is quite
active. If you are into the rock music/crystal gazer scene, then Asheville
is better.
