Default Day of remembrance SHOAH

Today is the anniversary of the Day of Remebrance.
The gates of Auschwitz were open by Russian soldiers
on January 27.

Let me remember a man that saved at least 5.000 Hungarian Jews. posing as
the Spanish Consul in Budapest.
His name is Giorgio Perlasca.
Everubody knows about Schindler.. but very few people know about him.

He saved many more lives
And he paid with his own money the bribes.. and risked his own life

deportation.
being young and strong he was one in the team that was waiting for trains to
come and collect luggage.

the most moving talk

He remembered a train of children only..
after 4 hours they were ashes...

Default Day of remembrance SHOAH

Since the Shoah there has been USSR, Cambodia, Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Iraq,
Somalia, now Kenya...
Many others to remember, not only the Shoah.
And yesterday's victims's children are plaguing the palestinians...
Not forgetting China, North Korea, Biafra and most places where the US
intervene.
Maybe this group is not appropriate for such remembrances, each day of the
year would be a remembrance day...and you would not like to post a
remembrance day every day, would you ?
