CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES' SALES FORCE EARNS TOP HONORS FROM TRAVEL WEEKLY
MAGAZINE

MIAMI (January 11, 2007) - Carnival Cruise Lines' field sales team
has been named "best in the cruise industry" by readers of the leading
travel trade publication Travel Weekly in its annual Reader's Choice poll.

The survey results, which were based on a poll of 44,000 Travel
Weekly readers, were announced at a recent black-tie event in New York.

Travel Weekly's "Best Sales and Service" award recognized Carnival's
77-member team of business development managers (BDMs) for exceptional skill
and professionalism in supporting travel agents who market and sell Carnival
cruise vacations. Carnival's BDMs partner with travel agents in pursuing
initiatives to develop new business, and also provide agents with a wide
variety of training opportunities to hone their product knowledge and sales
and marketing skills. Carnival's BDMs call on approximately 25,000 travel
agents throughout the U.S. and Canada and are supported by a staff of 50
business development representatives at the company's Miami headquarters.

"Our business development managers are pacesetters in the travel
industry and to receive this recognition by Travel Weekly readers -
comprised of some of the most knowledgeable and experienced sellers in
travel - is certainly an honor and a validation of Carnival's ongoing
efforts to serve the agent community," said Vicki Freed, senior vice
president of sales and marketing of Carnival Cruise Lines.

Carnival is the world's largest and most popular cruise line with a
fleet of 21 "Fun Ships" operating voyages ranging from three to 16 days in
length to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada,
New England, Bermuda, Europe and the Greek Isles. The line currently has
four new ships scheduled to enter service between now and spring 2011.

For additional information and reservations, contact any travel
agent, call 1-800-CARNIVAL or visit carnival.com.
