Duty Free at LAX
True.
On Thursday and Friday at LAX this traditional method of delivery had been stopped. Shop owners were concerned how long this would continue. Turns out, it was just for the two days _____________________________________ Duty Free at LAX Group: rec.travel.cruises Date: Sun, Aug 13, 2006, 11:54am (PDT+8) From: (Capt*Mary*Kidd) The message et from contains these words: Just saw a channel 7 (ABC affiliate) report showing that passengers at the LAX Bradley International terminal are now being allowed to make purchases of at least perfume and alcoholic products at the duty free shop and the purchases will be delivered to them at the far end of the jetway ramp just a few yards before entering the aircraft. This is what they have always done in US airports for those on int'l flights. One pays in the shop and collects just before the door to the aircraft. -- Pam |
