Personal curiosity
Kay and I are down in the Middle Keys. Yesterday we say two cruise ships
on the horizon around 8-9 AM Saturday, two more around 9-10 pm and another Three between 8--9 AM Sunday. Any idea where these might be coming from? -- "Even I realized that money was to politicians what the ecalyptus tree is to koala bears: food, water, shelter and something to crap on." ---PJ O'Rourke |

Any idea where these might be coming from? I can't answer your question directly, but the next time this happens try going to www.marinetraffic.com/ais/ - you might be able to see the ships' names there. After that, finding the itinerary show be relatively easy. Not all ships show up all the time; for example, right now, it's showing only half a dozen NCL ships. There might be security concerns, or there might be some other cause. |

My wife's Celebrity cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Cozumel stopped at Key West as did our Oceania cruise from Miami to Los Angeles. |

I believe that most Western Caribbean cruises pass close enough to the keys to be seen. Last I knew Key West only handles 2 ships at a time. Thumper |

Too early (9 or so in the evening) or late (9 or so in the morning when the incoming ships were supposed to be there already, -- "Even I realized that money was to politicians what the ecalyptus tree is to koala bears: food, water, shelter and something to crap on." ---PJ O'Rourke |
