Oregon - help!

I've been downloading webshots for a few years (webshots.com) and have
recently noticed that most of my nature scenes are from Oregon. It
looks like a beatiful place! Does anyone have any Oregon travel
must-sees for a gal from Alberta?

We haven't yet been to the Oregon coast, but we recently spent three
weeks visiting the Oregon Cascades. The scenery is outstanding. I
agree with the recommendations that Crater Lake is a must see. While
you're in the area, take the time to visit the Rogue River Gorge and
Natural Bridge.

From Crater Lake, take highway 138 along the North Umpqua River. The
valley is gorgeous and there are many waterfalls in the area.

The Columbia River Gorge is spectacular. We happen to prefer the
western region which is much more lush and green. Take the historic
highway offramp from I-84

First thing is to get a copy of: 'OREGON FOR THE CURIOUS' by Ralph
Friedman. It is available at any Oregon Travel or Vistior Shop.

It is available in a large hard cover or a smaller 6 x 9 inch soft cover.
It lists every City, Town, Village and Feature Sight in Oregon as well as
descriptions of things to see along the way. The route, hiway and local
roads, plus the mileage to the 1/10th mile are listed for every spot in the
State.

Wish all states had such a guide book.
