Super Tax Exile Depardieu: "Putin Has Sent Me a Passport"
"Poutine m'a déjà envoyé un passeport !", s'est amusé Depardieu.

tax increase announced by Hollande...)

That's only Belgium as one haven for zee Fwench fiscal exiles, Calder.

Here's UK news headlines:

"More than 400 €1million homes put on the market in Paris since
socialist

Francois Hollande elected to power"

Selling 'panic' on France's luxury property market as millionaires
rush to flee looming tax hikes

France's super-rich are looking to relocate to 'wealth-friendly'
countries like Britain

I've read rich zose Fwench fiscal exiles are moving to other places
too Calder. I just don't feel like searchin to prove it to you right
now Calder

.....what exactly is your point...?

I just find it amusing, Calder.

This is amusing also, Calder:

'While the French government's (foxy) spokes(wo)man declined to make
any comments regarding Gérard Depardieu's being granted Russian
citizenship, France's president has had a long telephone conversation
with the actor....

....Depardieu added that the fiscal aspect of his grievances was only
one detail thereof, and that his main gripe was with the fact that,
"in France, people who are successful and who take initiatives are
spat upon."

This interesting item from Gégé's friend, who commented about the
conversation to the Morandini website:
Toujours selon Arnaud Frilley, le Président a été à l'écoute, car
"quand on est un politique on écoute toujours une personnalité
populaire qui vous parle"...."

Do you find it also "amusing" the the swiss bank Wegelin has just ceased
trading after 300 years........?

wanna know why....?

.................................................. .................................................. ..........
They were found guilty of hiding $1.2 billion
Got that...? * Wealthy merkins who thought they could squirrel away the vast
sums of money on which tax was due in hidden swiss bank accounts......

Sure Calder,sure.

As Laffer tells us high tax rates will always drive money out of the
country and the higher the rates are increased more and more money is
chased out of the country . Always, Calder

Switzerland might be done for now but that only opens up opportunities
for the creation of alternative tax havens elsewhere
