Default Newfoundland and Labrador Travel and Music page

My Newfoundland and Labrador Travel and Music page, which
began as a requested volunteer compilation of rec.travel
articles mainly by me and Olaf Janzen in about 1994, is
at http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/nf.html .

It is just a plain text site with lots of content but has links to
some other sites with lots of pictures if you want those
as well.

It has some description of the area, a little on accommodations
and restaurants, and a lot on the local music scene including
festivals, venues (including pubs), bands, recordings, musicians
singers, and dancing. It is not quite up to date though since I
haven't been getting out as much in recent months, so I still have to
add some info or at least a mention of a lot of new bands.

If anyone wants to contribute a personal trip (to Newfoundland
and/or Labrador) to the site, e-mail it to me and I will add
it and then list you in the list of contributors. Similarly
if anyone wants me to mention bands I haven't yet, just e-mail
me their names and a description though I can't really recommend
them without hearing them, of course, but would list them
including with a link to their web page if they have one.

Also some old reviews by me of Newfoundland band Lizband and
Newfoundland solo artists Jim Fidler and Pamela Morgan
are on my main home page, http://www.nfld.com/~dalton
and I hope to add more new reviews soon, gradually.
