Libya has been a pain for the cruise lines since thye decided to open up.
Americans hoping to see it have sat aboard while the Europeans get to go
ashore fairly often. I had beed assured that the problem had been solved,
guess that is another urban myth.

Hi Joe,

I had clients on a Costa sailing in late December. The US passengers
were not allowed off the ship in Libya.

Best regards,
Ray

Article points out that another problem with Americans visiting Libya is
that they cannot have Israeli visa/immigration stamps in their passport:

I know Costa kicked a lady and her husband off their cruise because she had
an Israel stamp in her passport

Ray:

I'd just as soon you didn't reply to any of my posts with your billboard
ad of a signature block. If you want to respond with just a URL to your
business site then that is okay; otherwise, I don't want to provide a
vehicle for your phone numbers and capitalized business name.
Understand?

Mark,

I suspect that what I am about to write will cull up a reply from my "buddy"
Bob Ling, who, I am convinced, really believes that there is some sinister
relationship between Ray Goldenberg and myself.

The following is based on the fact that I have, like Bob Ling, a lot of time
on my hands.

So far this year Ray has posted 148 messages, 70 of which did NOT start with
"Hi, Everyone". You, on the other hand, have posted 55 messages, many of
which are nothing more than links.

I don't care what you post. I don't care what Ray posts. What I do care
about is that you go back and forth with Joseph Coulter and don't say
anything about Joe's "signature", and then you cop an attitude about Ray's
while posting as "Mark O. Polo" since 1999.

I don't care about you using WebTV, but I do find fault with you making
demands while you, IMHO, hide behind a pseudonym.

That is arrogant and presumptuous of you to ask that. All replies in a
newsgroup posting are not just to you, they are to the whole newsgroup.
In addition putting phone numbers and business name in a signature
block like Ray is doing is proper on Usenet newsgroups. If you don't
like his signature block, too bad. Either don't post to the newsgroup
or don't read Ray's posts.
