Election 2008 - Questions for McCain/Palin
[Posted to rec.arts.dance, rec.travel.usa-canada, alt.politics.bush,
soc.culture.usa, alt.california, alt.abortion, ca.politics, alt.politics.usa.republican, alt.politics.democrat] ABORTION and States' Rights McCain/Palin has said it believes the legality of a medical procedure, the termination of an unwanted pregnancy should be the decision of each State. Suppose, McCain/Palin, that only Alaska and Hawai'i legalized such procedures. What words of wisdom do you have for the matronly minimum wage couple in Miami for the mandatory motherhood your policy would impose? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://igs.berkeley.edu/library/hot_...seNOV2008.html -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MARRIAGE and State's Rights McCain/Palin has expressed the belief that, whether The State's business is whom you choose to marry should be the decision of each state, i.e., a same-sex couple could be legally married in one state and prosecuted for committing “crimes against nature” in another. I found one political entity recommending a “Yes” vote on a proposition dictating the gender mix of marriages. Do you support the Republican Party of California's position on that issue? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The questions above, and a commentary from 2002, may be found at http://geocities.com/iconoc/Articles/AbortWed.html |
