Yosemite high country in June
Hi,
I'm planning a 9 days trip to Yosemite from 6/9 to 6/18. I'd like to spend the last part of the trip (say the last 3 days) in the Tuolumne Meadows area. In a year with average snow accumulation, what conditions should I expect to find in the high contry? Are trails still (partially) snow covered? In particular, I'm thinking of a backpack to Waterwheel Falls. Thanks! Giulio |

June is early in the season for the Yosemite high country (7000 feet and above). You should be prepared for snow on the ground in some areas through July. |
