easyJet hand baggage questions
For an easyJet flight Gatwick-Cologne I'm considering taking only hand
baggage but have several questions not answered clearly on their site: 1) Max size of bag? The BAA site says = 56 x 45 x 25 cm. But EZ Jet spec is 55 x 40 x 20 cm, quite a lot smaller. Why this substantial difference compared to official specs? At Security do I have to show it fits in a frame of that lower size? 2) Can I take my additional small rucksack or not? BAA says government restrictions now lifted, so yes, but easyJet website says no. 3) Is it OK to take a can of shaving gel (assuming I can find one no larger than 100 ml)? 4) Is a normal shaving razor (Gillette Sensor) OK? 5) Can I take nail scissors if they have rounded points? -- Terry, East Grinstead, UK |

If an airlines sets the bar lower that is entirely their prerogative. You have to meet the lower limit of everything. Razor and scissors, I wouldn't consider it unless I was prepared to lose them. Gel, less than the government 100ml, yes but it's the container, not the amount in the container, that is relevant (but I think you realise that). |
