booking Business Saver Awards on United. . .

We've finally racked up enough Mileage Plus miles for some international
flights in business class. We're very flexible about when we can travel and
I understand you need to book these in advance. Using the website it looks
like nothing is ever available up to a year in advance, so I'm imagining you
need to call. I have had that experience before where it wouldn't show a
destination but if we called in they could get the dates based on other
airlines in the network.

Anyone that does this a lot have any tips?
