Why is anyone surprised about this.

Aren't big buckles normal attire for the new breed of Carnival cruiser?

This guy probably got the cruise for $100 (cheaper than a weekend at the
American Legion) and drove down from Atlanta in the family truck. All the
poor fellow wants to do is proudly display his belt buckle at dinner and on
formal nights (along with his ball cap and T shirt).
