Default A question to the residents of Florida

"Gary C" wrote in message ...
Here in the midwest, after a major storm passes,
a cold front usually follows. High pressure, blue
skies, a stiff wind, not a cloud in the sky.

We never experience any weather approaching from
the east or south/east either.

What type of weather generally follows a hurricane?

With all the hotel rooms being taken by locals, a tourist's best plan is
to reschedule for Spring 2005. All the debris should be cleaned up by then,
and hotel prices should be more reasonable. Also, the beach areas should
be cleared, making for nicer side trips.

Waiting till spring will also allow one to verify that FL state officials
conducted a clean presidential election. Then a return of tourist spending
would be a just reward.

health :

In fact, there are less death because of a hurricane than because of cigarettes
