Southern Utah & Vegas with Kids
I'm thinking of taking the family to Salt Lake City and making our way to
Vegas for a few days this summer. I love the southwest and I cant pass up some extraordinary fares to Salt lake City that make it worthwhile to take the whole family, so starting there is a must. We have done the Grand Canyon so that won't be part of the itinerary. I would like to do Escalante, Moab, Canyonlands and Monument Valley, but it seems to much to drive to all those and then head to Vegas, via Zion and Bryce (??) and back to Slat lake City, all in 10 days. Any advice on doing all that, or what should be priority with kids? They love swimming and horseback riding. not so much the oohing and awing that I do at the natural sights, but they aren't deathly bored by it either. Thanks, |
