Default Shooting at school again

This time in Las Vegas six pupils have been wounded at a bus stop by gunmen.
Something should be done? I guess European governments start giving travel
warnings and discourage their citizens to travel to this war zone.

Throughout history, Europe has been one war zone after another.

"...most Western ...nations have relatively low rates of youth suicide -
fewer than 15 cases a year for every 100,000 young males. The highest
rates - more than 30 cases per 100,000 - are found in Finland, ...

================================================== ====================
Yep - you sick guys just let your kids kill themselves; you don't wait
for others to do it.
================================================== =================

"The rate of suicide has been high in Finland, especially among young
men. To address the problem, Finland was the first country in the world
to implement a nationwide suicide prevention programme. The programme
took place between 1986 and 1996, ...though the initial goal of 20% was
not reached. "

"Elderly Suicide in Finland -This study population included all
completed suicides 1,397, of whom 211 were 65 years or older..."

"There is a link (between darkness and suicide) but it’s not an
important explanation,”...experts point out that Norway, located at the
same latitude, ... had a suicide rate that was half that of Finland."

And the US has been any different? They had a number of wars with various
Indian tribes, have been at war with Mexico several times, tried to invade
Canada several times, had a hell of a bloody civil war. There is hardly a
decade in the last two centuries that they have not been at war somewhere.
the only difference is they take their wars overseas.

I am not European you retard, but it is not surprise that you respond with
a profane rant and bizarre accusations rather than address the facts. What
was the last decade that the US was not involved in a war somewhere?

Serbia, for example, is still griping about a war they lost 600
years ago in Kosovo and also the repeat of a few years ago. At
least the US won most of its wars except Vietnam and the War of
1812 which was essentially a draw.

Indeed, nationalism is a touchy issue. the Irish are still whining about
English injustice, conveniently forgetting their constant attempts to help
other Catholic nations overthrow the English. The Basques are unhappy. The
Indians and Pakistanis continue to skirmish over disputed territories.

At least the US won most of its wars except Vietnam and the War of
1812 which was essentially a draw.

Yes, they have won most of their wars, though there are some who dispute
they lost Vietnam, and to call 1812 a draw is being generous to the US
considering that their goal was to annex Canada and they failed. However I
was responding to the Shark's comment that Europe has been war zone after
another and asked how the US is any different because it has been involved
in one war after another throughout its history. It started before
independence:

1675-76 King Phillips War Colonies vc several Indian tribes
1689-97 King William's War Colonies vs France
1702-13 Queen Anne's War Colonies vs. France
1744-48 King George's War French COlonies vs Britain
1756--63 French Colonies vs. Great Britain
1759-61 Cherokee War Colonists vs Cherokee Indians
1775-83 Colonies vs. Great Britain
1785-97 Northwest Indian War US vs Indians
1794 Nijack Expedition US vs Indians
1798-1800 Franco American War US vs France
1801, 1805 1815 Barbary Wars US vs algiers, Tunis and Tripoli
1806 Sabone Expedition US vs Indian
1812-15 War of 1812 US vs Great Britain
1813-14 Creek War US vs Creek Indians
1817 Seminole War US vs Seminole Indians
1827 Winnebego War US vs Indian
1832 Balckhawk War US vs Indian
1834 Pawnee Indian Territory campaign
1835 Second Seminole War US vs Seminole Indians
1836 War of Texas Independence US vs Mexico (Americans move into a Mexican
province and then fight for independence ... blatant land grab)
1836 FLorida-Georgie order War
1836-75 Texas Indian Wars
1837 Osage Indian War
1840 Great Raid of 1840
1849 Antelope Hills Expedition
1862 Dakota War of 1862
1863 COlorado War
1868 Commanche Campaign
1876-77 Black Hills War
1877 Nez Perce War
1890 Pine Ridge Campaign
1874-75 Red River War
1846-48 Mexican War .... Americans moved into Mexican territory... tried
to buy it.. provoked war and settled war by buying the land ... blatant
land grab
1861-65 US Civil War Union vs Confederacy
1898 Spanish American War US vs Spain
1914 WWI
1915 Punitive expedition into Mexico
1941-45 WWII
1950-53 Korean War
1960-75 Vietnam
1961 Pay of Pigs Invasion
1983 Grenada
1989 Panama
190-91 Persian Gulf War
1995-96 Nato intervention in former Yugoslavia
2001 Invasion of Afghanistan
2003 Invasion of Iraq

As you can see from this list, there is hardly a decade in which the US has
not been at war. So as I pointed out to the previous poster, the US is not
much different from Europe in quality or quantity of warfare.
