Default English ok?

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my question. My wife and I
are leaving to Europe (from the US) in 2 weeks. We'll spend a month touring
most of western Europe. While my wife knows a bit of German and French, and
I know some Spanish and a bit of Italian, we are still worried that we're
not prepared enough to speak each country's home language. What should
English speaking tourists expect when traveling in Western Europe? Any
areas that are resentful towards tourists who only speak English (American
at that)?

Thanks,

Mike and Tricia

English is widely spoken language. Most of people speak english.I think everyone should know english language to stay connected with people.I am learning english by videos like this one http://youtu.be/9WblArYuYqo

Did you realize that he was merely plugging a youtu.be-link and had no
intention to answer any question? It was a spam post.

Ah, okay. At least he makes some effort for a spammer ;-)

Cheers,
