includes rec.travel.cruises.

They are installing Verizon Fios in my building in the next couple of
weeks. I might switch from Comcast if their rates are good just on
general principle. I don't expect Verizon rates to be too different
than Comcast. I think Tom K is correct, when there are only two or
three companies they follow each other on price.

In any case I prefer a separate news server than one that only works at
home since I like to connect away from home on my laptop.
Individual.net works quite well and I consider it to be a good deal at
13 Euros a year.

news.motzarella.org is free and easy to use. You do have to registar but
that is it. I still us my same Outlook Newreader.

I agree with this . aioe loses a lot of messages, motzarella.org
appears to be among the best of the free news hosting sites.
