I have also booked a hotel, but mine was actually in Philadelphia, Pa,
as they offered lower rates in some US cities. I found them through
another travel site. They have charged my card but I have not heard
anything either. Any update on your situation? I have never used
them before and while it has been less than a day, I am still
concerned as I have not yet recieved any confirmation of my booking...

________
Well less than 1 day (during the weekend) I don't see why you are so
anxious... if its on request it take 24 to 48H to receive
confirmation..

General remark... Online travel shop cannot fraud more than few days
since the credit card clearing house (Visa / MasterCard) will close
them down after few days once first complaints will arrive. This site
function since 3 years so I really don't see any problem ...

Did everything go as planned? Did you get the hotel you wanted as I am
interested in using this agency because the prices are lower. Also I
am sceptical about wether the lower rate is genuine.

I received an email back from asiativ saying hotel not available at
the dates and offered an alternative. The hotel IS available according
to the hotel site so the lower prices are not true even though I had
an email verifying the price. The way they are getting out of it is
saying date not available. I would not recommend using them and I
won't again. Just hope my credit card does not get used.

Well this are bad words from bad person for free... all websites ( I use
Asia rooms and Asiativ) having limited room for the low rates once the
sold the limited rooms they announce fully booked but this mean fully
booked for this rates. Of course the hotel has still free rooms but
much more expensive!!
Its like low cost flight that publish low rate but for very limited
number of seat if you book early enough you can get it
This is the name of the game and if you don't know how to play with it
book with your travel agents and pay expensive rates!!!

Most of the Thai travel website are doing great job and no one of them
with TAT license is seeking to steal your credit card (in most of the
cases in upside down)

During November 07 I booked 2 rooms at the Amari Watergate hotel
Bangkok via www.asiativ.com. It was my first experience with Asiativ
site and I must say Great experience!!! Hotel was with immediate
confirmation, no VAT or tax to add and price that you see in the first
page is the price you finely pay. I got the voucher after 2 hours no
problems!!
4 days ago I was surprised to see Asiativ.com in Hotelscombined.com
price compare engine for hotels in London. I thought they make only
Asia. However happy to see they make worldwide. I book hotel in London
via Asiativ and on request this time and got a voucher after 1.5 days
which is ok for me. They have high-quality call center and very kind
Thai staff that speak very good English- I recommend them!

[snip reams of praise]

And this is your first post, too? My guess is both you and the
dmey...@gmail person work for Asiativ.

I'd say avoid the site.
