Default Tasmania for Christmas

We will be spending Christmas week in Tasmania and are looking for mid-range
or better accomodations that have some charm, character and good food.

We are still assessing our itinerary, but will probably fly into/out of
Hobart, see the E/NE beach/wine area plus Cradle Mt.

Any input would be most welcome.Thanks.

If you are staying in the Battery Point area of Hobart don't worry about
accommodation that includes meals, there are plenty of eateries in Salamanca
Place, I can recomend Mr Woobies, The Ball & Chain Grill, Kelly's, The
Drunken Admiral for starters.
