Yes, but when there are scribblers about who not only read the entire piece
before waxing critical, but then to compound there sins, leave the whole
post uncut, untrimmed, unedited, my faith in human nature is restored.

I never threw anything away...in the end, I did ship the overweight

Yes, some of it was lost in the noise. I was responding to followups,
not the original post. However, it appears that your problem was them
charging you the applicable air freight rate and you wanted to get buy
paying less and expected them to make an exception for you because you
were carry so much stuff due to your special degree program.
Additionally, you had not one, but 2 overweight bags. The point is that
you should have planned ahead. You didn't pack them until it was too
late to buy more luggage. BA didn't do anything unusual in refusing to
accept them and if that is your acid test for choosing airlines, then
you might want to try that experiment again on other carriers.

I have no idea why people waste such incredibly profound and elaborate
answers on such a trivial POS* as the alias master Max Musterman, etc, etc.

"Brevity is the soul of wit." Given the lengthy response in Oliver's post
two things are obvious. He possesses a voluminous vocabulary and he has no
wits. It could also be said that he has no soul but that would be redundant.

Please don't entertain these assholes with your responses. It only takes up
space in the group and does nothing to discourage the offender.

people on usenet

It is a discussion forum. Expressing an opinion is not harassment,
with the exception of your opinions which are always harassing people.

That mrtravelkay scores a 9.875 on the Ovoid Asshole Factor Scale is not
now nor has it been the question. He and his repute rise and fall on his
own posts, not in accord the crinkles about his dingleberry den.

That the original poster, an enrollee in some institute of higher learning
and aspirant to some sort of advanced degree, likely exchangeable for a

cup
of bad coffee in a backcrossroads (where back roads cross) convenience
store, would be so dense as to show up at the counter with baggage

weighted
down to the point it could have been substituted for ballast on the GREAT
EASTERN, and then belabor the innocent damsels of BA, draftees as they are
from a school for the insufficently enabled, is beyond the pale and well

on
the way to demonstration of some retardation in his grasp of reality.

His Marie Antoinette approach also falls short of even the miserable
standards expected from travelers to Disneyworld who have never previously
left the corporttate limits of the inbred and incestuos Appalachian

hamlets
in which they reside.

The BA girls should have simply flooged him severely, destroyed his
passport and told him (along with the horse upon which he approached the
aerodrome) to get f*cked. Instead, they chose riutine and expectable
discourtesy.

TS* cards are available on the second deck aft, the penitents' counter of
the Chaplain's lair, during the third Dog watch on the second Tuesday of
next week.
