Americans and their treatment of Canadians
Ken Pisichko wrote:
Are these the same soldiers that beat the USMC to such a stand still that the Marines had to relinquish their command structure to the New Iraq Army (NIA) with the recycled (but former enemy) Iraqi General, hoping that the NIA would take care of all those pesky rebels with those pesky AK-47s and RPGs...... Not to mention that this happened a year after the announcement of the end of the heavy fighting. And as far as "****ing them up" look what your politicians are saying in the media regarding the brutal treatment of Iraqi prisoners.. Sodomy, etc. ow nice it is to support such actions. Boy do I pity anyone supporting that kind of American behavior........ How embarrassing that must be. First they went in under the pretence of searching for weapons of mass destruction, and did so against the advice of most of their long standing friends and allies, but when they failed to turn up WMDs they justified the change of regime because the old regime had murdered and tortured their opponents. |

That was terrible of us wasn't it. Shame on us for ending a reign of terror. You know the left has become morally bankrupt when they hate Bush more than Saddam Hussein. |

I guess they can't be that much of a secret, but they might be on par with untendered contracts to repair oil fields before the war even started. but when they failed to turn up WMDs they justified the change of regime because the old regime had murdered and tortured their opponents. You know the left has become morally bankrupt when they hate Bush more than Saddam Hussein. Being a little better than Saddam does not make him a saint. Atrocities are not more acceptable when they are not quite as wide spread. |

Everyone except the xian fundys hates Bush more than Saddam. When this thing started I figured the Shrubbies would **** it up because of the desire to go ahead without support of other countries and their insensitivity to other cultures. But in my own dreams I never expected them to screw up this bad. Thier use of torture is no different from what they claim to oppose. So I have a question. Can anyone name one thing in Iraq that the US has not screwed up? Z |

Funny how the greatest thing Canadians think they ever accomplished never actually happened. So, what 'actually' did happen to the White House? Give us your version of history. It was burned by the Brits. GeeWhiz, ya think? Which means no Canadians. |

How many prison guards does it take to give the impression that a regime is abusing and torturing prisoners? |
