You could take the evening flight from BKK to KUL which is always late anyway (or else I just have really bad luck), and hang out at the airport overnight. KUL has two good things going for it: 1) The best food situation of any airport on the planet, hands down, bar none. On Level 2 (in the open-to-the-public area, not inside immigration) follow signs to the Food Garden, where you'll find a huge range of genuinely good food for US$2 or less per meal. It's clean and spacious too. 2) Really nice sleeping chairs scattered around the departure area, soft and inclined, with head- and footrests. Also lots of soft row-chairs without armrests. It's a pleasure to sleep (though you will need earplugs as there are some periodic automated announcements that go on all night). miguel -- Hit The Road!
