4 hour layover in Denver
I will be flying domestically within the US with a rather lengthy layover in
Denver. Is there anything touristy worth checking out close enough to the airport to do in the few hours I have? |

I did a little searching and found the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge is fairly close to the airport... would this be worth a look see? |

Stay in the airport and get a stiff drink (but not too many). |

I will be flying domestically within the US with a rather lengthy layover in Denver. Is there anything touristy worth checking out close enough to the airport to do in the few hours I have? As a photographer I'd probably head to Tom Mangelsen's "Images of Nature" gallery in the airport gift shop area and drool over all the great nature photos ... http://www.imagesofnaturewebstore.com/ |

OK you didn't say how many hours. So how many hours is "a few"? Stay in the airport and get a stiff drink (but not too many). |

OK you didn't say how many hours. So how many hours is "a few"? Ooops you did say 4 hours. So my original recommendation stands. Stay in the airport and get a stiff drink (but not too many). |

Not really, once you go groundside you have to allow a couple of hours to get back through screening and to the right gate and DIA is a long way from anywhere. Keith |
