temporary visas have expired and who are in a relationship with an
Australian citizen or resident will no longer be forced to leave the

Property is no walk in the park Those 1.5 million property investors
around Australia who record tax losses in their tax returns must be
hoping that when it comes time to sell there will be a big pay day.
How else can the enormous losses racked up each year by property
investors be explained? http://www.smh.com.au/business/prope...0911-fkre.html

Low and medium-high income earners priced out of property market. A
STUDY of national home ownership rates has painted a grim picture of
the difficulties both low and medium-high income earners face getting
into the housing market, as average house prices have trebled since
1996. Researchers from Flinders University, led by adjunct professor
Joe Flood, today released their findings, concluding that Australia's

For secrecy's sake. LAST week, after Allan Kessing revealed he had
leaked a suppressed report to the Labor Party when the Howard
government was in power, the former Customs official received an
unexpected phone call. Kessing knows the caller but is surprised by
what he said: someone is preparing to blow the whistle on the Rudd
government. The call was triggered by news that Australian Federal
Police are considering laying charges against Kessing for a second
time over the leaking of a report on flawed security at Sydney
airport. http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au...rom=public_rss
