Yellowstone national park

I am planning a trip in the spring to Yellowstone. I'm looking for a
relatively inexpensive cabin/place to stay but will pay more for the right
spot. I would like to find a quiet, off the beaten path, private place to
photograph the wildlife (If this is even possible). Any websites, links,
names of places or past experiences would be much appreciated.

There's plenty of wildlife during the day but there's more near dusk
(and dawn apparently but we aren't early risers). Some just wander in
the roadways.

You can often tell by the traffic jams. Although after a short time,
it's easy to get jaded. "Oh, more bison."
