Default NCL tightens cancellation policy

Norwegian Cruise Line tightened its cancellation policy, increasing
penalties closer to the sailing.

NCL said that the new policy brings it in line with other cruise
lines' cancellation policies.

Under the new policy, effective Jan. 1, NCL will charge the passenger
100% of the cost of the cruise if they cancel 14 days prior to
sailing, rather than the current seven.

If the passenger cancels between 15 and 29 days before the cruise,
they will be charged 75% of the cost of the cruise or their deposit,
whichever is greater.
