Default asheville and smokies travel

Hello,
How badly affected is the asheville/smokies
region of NC with the recent storms/floods?

We were previously planning a short trip up there
late Sept (next weekend).

Need some advice. Will the parkway be closed
this fall? If so, how about 441 to the smokies,
is that accessible?

Please let me know which areas of WNC are still
accessible. We were going to biltmore and a few
of the falls.

Thanks much!

There are a few places on the Parkway that are closed due to washouts but in
general everything is open (including that grossly overpriced Biltmore).

We just went and got back Weds. - No problems at all! I-40 is down to one
lane in either direction in two places but no slowdown/traffic tie-ups on
Sat. or Weds. I am not sure about Asheville itself but we went through the
National Park and no closures.
