Yes, but don't confine your visit to just Seaside. I would plan on working your way both up and down the coast a little ways. You'll find more soaring headlands to the south, more long sandy beaches to the south, with lots of things to do in-between. If you go to the Portland Visitors' Association web site and check out the
Big Deal, you will find special offers for downtown hotels (and others) which include free parking; URL is www.travelportland.com.
