Default Mexico art and culture trip in July

Next July a fiber-artist colleague and I (a cultural anthropologist) are
taking a group to Mexico that you might be interested in joining. We'll
have three days in Mexico City and then ten days in Oaxaca. Although
we'll hit some of the famous places (the pyramids at Teotihuacán and
Monte Albán, Frida Kahlo's house, etc.), much of it will be off the
beaten path--an evening of lucha libre (Mexican wrestling with masked
wrestlers) in D.F., salsa lessons in Oaxaca, etc. The highlight will be
spending several days and nights in very small towns outside of Oaxaca
city doing weaving and ceramic workshops. Another option is a collage
workshop in Oaxaca city. You can see details at our web
site--lasartesdemexico.com.
