anyone used priceline recently? counteroffer exactly half off published fares
Recently used Priceline for round-trip flights for the first time in a long time (like, nine
years...). My first bid was $100, they countered with $262.75 including taxes, which was precisely 50% off the lowest published fares w/ taxes, down to the penny. Same airports and dates. Decided to accept the offer. Anyone else come across that? |

To use pricleline, I need to fly out a day early (which may be a morning flight killing a full day) and fly back the next day (which may be a late flight killing two days). -- Binyamin Dissen http://www.dissensoftware.com Should you use the mailblocks package and expect a response from me, you should preauthorize the dissensoftware.com domain. Understood, this was for personal travel and I was able to be really flexible with the dates. |
