Default Ryanair gave me a free flight - where do I go?

So, I got a free flight from Ryanair. I have 15 days to decide where to go,
or I lose it.
Will have to go on my own, but, hey, Stansted is about 20 mins down the
road, so it seems a shame to waste it!
http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/dests.php?flash=chk

Just for sheer value and length of flight, Palermo or Almeria would "save"
me about £100 (once taxes are factored in). And I've never done Italy
before.

I'm a skint student with all the right student cards, so I'm really looking
for something which is OK for the single traveller, not too much stress. Two
or three days of taking pictures, couple of souvenirs, then back again.
(Hopefully managing to squeeze it all into a backpack, what with the new
charges and that!)

Any ideas?

Is that a free flight including taxes and charges? I've had almost free
flights before, at 0.01 Euro, but considerably more expensive once you add
taxes.

Is that Almaria Spain? Its a quiet area of semi desert with some
quiet summer resorts around Cabo de Gato. Almaria itself isnt
much of a tourist destination but I rather like it, good food
market like most spanish towns. Palermo sounds more interesting,
assuming Ryan fly to somewhere actually near Palermo.

No, it's PLUS taxes and charges. Which is why it'd be pointless for me to go
to a "penny destination", 'cos I'd only be "saving" a penny!
That's why I'm looking for somewhere which is £140+ BEFORE taxes! 'cos I'd
never go there normally, see?

This is the hidden catch with Ryanair. You don't want a 100 mile bus
trip from the airport before you actually get to Palermo.

the engines up :-(

Easy enough to find out - 32 km from the town centre.

If you're travelling in summer, to maximise the money saved I'd travel to a
popular tourist destination - Ryanair's fares tend to increase based on
demand rather than on distance flown.

Not valid July or Aug! Besides, it has to be used well before then.
I'll just pick the most expensive one to fly to, I think!

I have a friend in Spain and another in Germany who are due a visit, but
sadly they are "1p" destinations, so it makes it a little pointless!

Riga Latvia.

Two to three days is enough to see the city and the major tourist
sites, there are some hostels in the downtown area. Food can be cheap.
