Umbrian Gardens
Good day! I am traveling to *-todi-* in April. I have reserved an apartment from an agency that maintains a web site at: 'http://www.umbriangarden.com/vacation.html' (http://www.umbriangarden.com/vacation.html) I have sent our full payment in advance - but have thus far been unable to get FIRM assurances about the agency or the apartment. It sounds too good to be true - our apartment is SOPRA LE NUVOLE, sleeps 8, $1,200 for the full week. Does anyone have information about Umbrian Gardens? THanks in advance. email to ' ) -- todiman ------------------------------------------------------------------------ todiman's Profile: http://travelforums.org/forums/member.php?userid=948 View this thread: http://travelforums.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67618 This post was submitted via http://www.TravelForums.org |

I have no experience with that particular agency but the price doesn't
appear out of line. Some generic comments though. 1) Assume that all pictures of the property have been carefully sited and taken with a wide angle lens. WHat you think you see may not be what you get. 2) If an amenity isn't listed assume that it isn't there. Assume rooms are pretty small unless dimensions are specified. 3) Ask questions about the location. What is in the immediate vicinity. A wonderful villa adjacent to a dairy farm will not be fun. If you don't have a particular reference to the property you are to a certain extent taking your chances. Usually you win. A search of google will provide plenty of folks who happened to lose. Don't panic and have fun. todiman wrote: Good day! I am traveling to *-todi-* in April.
