Looking for a beach in Long Island to have a charcoal BBQ

I'm looking a for a beach in long island preferably around Robert
Moses, don't want to go too far into the Island, to have a Charcoal
BBQ.

I can't seem to find the correct information out there on the web.
They all seem to have picnic tables but don't tell you if grills are
available or if BBQing is even allowed.

If anyone knows a good spot please help me out.

Requirements,

BEACH, Nice Water, Spacious enough for 15 people. Grill, Picnic
tables, BBQing allowed (charcoal).

Jones Beach State Park. They have areas for barbecuing. Look on the web
for NY state parks for the rules. Jones Beach is big - over 6 miles long,
and it's on the open ocean so there's good surf, and also some calm water in
the bay. There are swimming, diving, and wading pools as well. The picnic
areas are generally near the parking lots.
