Like, e.g. a supplier, under contract to Delta, failing to deliver to
Delta per that contract because they are concerned that Delta *might*
potentially fail to deliver under their side of the contract. (Note
the distinction: the caterers are materially in breach, because they
think that Delta might breach).

You have no idea whether or not Delta are already sufficiently in debt
with the caterer that Delta is in breach of contract. If they get the
meals on 30 days credit, what if they've not paid for 40 days? It's not
a breach of contract for the caterer to refuse a new order in those
circumstances.

You are right, we don't know all the details, but the important detail
is that the judge sided with Delta and ordered the caterer to supply the
meals.

The only time I've seen a CEO travel economy class was when the compnay
was in serious difficulties and the CEO was trying to make a statement
about containing costs.

The last 3 software companies I have worked all had
a policy of everyone flying economy unless there
was a pressing reason otherwise and yes the CEO
flew in cattle class too.
