Default Diving Mozambique

I'm thinking of doing a bit of diving in Mozanbique fairly soon. Has anyone
been there and have any comments or advice to offer?

There are many dive spots in Mozambique, all along the coastline from
South Africa to Tanzania. The most popular are those in the south
(Ponta D'ouro, Malangane, etc) but this is because thy're close to
South Africa and more esily accessibly. Personally, I hate Southern
Mozambique because it's full of moronic South African yobs who have
scant regard for the people, the country, serenity, etc of the area,
so I tend to stay away.

I haven't dived in Pemba, but I have been told that the diving is very
good there, with excellent visibility. It's a long way to go though.

Regards,
Marc

What a pity. I am sorry to hear that as I'm hoping to dive
there myself sometime soon. Perhaps I'll try and get up north instead.

To Andy: I think you may get more replies in rec.scuba.locations.
