Santorini is a whole hell of alot smaller than the United States. I
love Greece, and especially Santorini, but if this is happening in two
of the most popular nightclubs, women need to know - now! Even if not
true, we need to be observant & wary of any drinks offered ANYWHERE!

Indeed. I've already acknowledged the absurdity of the avoiding a
country due to the behaviour of some men in a resort.

Still, women really must take care in Santorini. The fact that
bar/waiting staff are doing this is quite terrifying. People are being
drugged unknowingly.

The safest thing is only to go on holiday to these resorts with people
who know you well. In this way, any bizzare behaviour is picked up on
immediately and then people can help protect you.

This account is, unfortunately, true. Perhaps these resorts attract
abusers in the same way that paedophiles are attracted to work in
care-homes. Since it's the end of season, I expect there are just too
few suitable vitims to find. I suspect that this is the worst possible
time for a group of girls to visit these resorts (in this case
Perissa).

It's quite possible that the rapists will be exposed, since there are
photographs of them all. This will depend on emotional and practical
issues. I have no legal concerns - they'll be shown and named if we
choose to show them.

No agenda beyond raising awareness. I do agree that it's stupid (and
over emotional) to blame Santorini and Greece for the actions of a few
callous rapists. I apologise for and withdraw those remarks. However,
there are pre-meditated attackers operating there, and people,
particularly women, should be very careful.
