Default Whoo Hoo Saturday Morning Texarribean

Hi all,

We are leaving for the NCL Sea Saturday morning. Any last minute
suggestions? I am recovering from cancer (only 47, and I AM recovering) but
can't do anything too strenuous...I'm thinking of sightseeing and shopping
seeing as much of the islands as possible without a lot of walking. I also
am going to be limiting my sun exposure (yes, I'm still going to the
Caribbean)! We usually rent a car and run all over the islands doing our
own sightseeing and snorkelling, etc. but don't know how that would work
here, never having been. Hubby has never been to any of these islands and I
have only been to Cozumel. Anyway, just thought I'd Ask.

thanks,

Shauna

If you are going snorkeling, pick up one of the waterproof disposable
cameras (or a couple of them) for underwater pictures, way less expensive
here.

Whatever you decide to do while on your cruise enjoy every minute. I am
so happy to learn you are a survivor.

SUNNY.........wishes you calm seas and many gentle breezes and much
good health

Congratulations!

Don't stay out of the sun altogether, but do slather on the sunscreen.
I hate sunscreen but used it liberally after radiation, because you ARE
already burnt.

I don't know what your itinerary is specifically, but I take taxis just
about anywhere in the Caribbean.

Do try to take it easy; treatment for cancer takes a heavy toll on your
body - but celebrate!

One of my favorite ships! DO have dinner in Le Bistro one night - top-notch
food, service and ambience.

Just returned last week from the same jaunt.
We took the tour of Roatan+iguana farm...really interesting(air cond vans)
Toured Cozamel via donkey cart ;-) after cancelling the Avalon tour(who
wants to spend nearly 2 hours in a tender???)
Belize City....mmmmm...don't even think of taking the museum/river tour...it
SUCKS!!...and the yellow flies will eat you alive!!
Cancun....My pick...cleanest of all and much more enjoyable.
The ship is older than your parents but the service is great. ...Well worth
the money.
Most of all...ENJOY!!!!
