Someone knows if there is a website with the schedule of most (or all)
trains in the United States? I tried to find one but I wasn't able to. With many thanks and kindest regards, Gio' Inviato da www.mynewsgate.net |

Someone knows if there is a website with the schedule of most (or all) trains in the United States? Probably not. Amtrak would list most of its intercity/interstate train service, but local services (like CalTrain on the San Francisco peninsula) keep their own website (or use the awful "511.org" site). So, you are likely stuck looking up the city or area's regional service (if there is one) followed by any Amtrak services for long distances (though I'd be pressed to say "Amtrak" and "schedule" in the same breath without smirking). Aside from intercity service at www.amtrak.com, the National Model Railroad Association website has a handy collection of links to most if not all North American commuter and transit rail system websites, at: http://www.cwrr.com/nmra/travelreg.html Alan Follett Hercules, CA |
