Expedited Passports Update

Those following the passport threads might be interested to know that
things are going according to schedule, thus far at least, with the two
applications I submitted for my kids last week.

We applied at a local post office on Wednesday afternoon, June 6. I
paid the fees and an additional $60 each for expedited service since we
will be traveling at the end of August.

Both checks were deposited yesterday, and the applications showed up
online this morning at the State Department tracking site. It is noted
that we requested expedited status and says we should expect to receive
the passports within two to three weeks of the application date.

With all the horror stories I've been reading here and elsewhere, I
won't feel totally comfortable until they're in my hands, but so far, so
good.

regular. i'm not worried since it's just bermdua

I'll do my best to post a trip report when we return. Will be sure to
do a Thames River ride to make it more on topic ;-) .
